You’re welcome, Beverly. It’s my favourite pattern too. And I love the basket weave for my dishcloths.
Thank you for the feedback!

J’aimerais savoir que veux les lettres K. Y etc. Dans vos patrons de serviettes merci
Hi Micheline,
I don’t speak French, so I put your question in a translator.
This is what the abbreviations in the pattern stand for:
K = knit
P = purl
YO = yarn over
K2tog = knit 2 together
SSK = slip, slip, knit.
I hope that helps!
Blessings,
Julia
What do k3 *k3 mean
Hi Trudy,
Sorry for the delayed reply.
Each row you start and end with the knit 3. The *k3,p3* or knit 3, purl 3 is repeated to the last three stitches where you knit 3. The asterisks mean repeat the stitches/pattern inside the asterisks until otherwise indicated. And every second row you repeat *p3,k3* to get the basketweave pattern.
I hope this helps!
Julia
Will 306 yards be enough to make this
Hi Evelyn,
Sorry for the delayed reply.
Yes, this is enough. In fact, you could make two and maybe even a dishcloth.
