Equipment

  • 1 skillet

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Pork chops thin and boneless
  • Salt sprinkle
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Onion small, finely chopped
  • 1/2 Red bell pepper chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Sour cream
  • ½ – 1 tsp Paprika to taste
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Ground black pepper

Instructions

  • For tender, juicy pork chops, sprinkle with salt a few hours before cooking. Then cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to prepare.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear pork chops on both sides, about 2-3 minutes each side or until they release from the pan. If they do not lift from the pan easily, they are not ready to turn. Allow them to sear a little longer.
  • When both sides are seared, transfer from the skillet to a plate.
  • Add prepared onion, red pepper and garlic to the skillet and sauté until tender.
  • Return meat to the skillet.
  • Combine milk, sour cream and seasonings in a two-cup measure and pour over meat.
  • Reduce heat to low and cover.
  • Continue cooking while you prepare the rest of the meal.
  • Remove lid and allow sauce to reduce until thickened, if necessary.
