Food Prep – Easy Clean-up

Onions, garlic and bell peppers are common ingredients in my cooking, but I’m not a fan of the little pieces of onion skin and pepper seeds that land on the counter. I find them a bit annoying to clean up.

My solution? Choose-a-size paper towel. A half-sheet is the perfect size to make food prep clean-up easy.

When preparing vegetables, lay a piece of compostable paper such as newspaper or paper towel on the counter. Discard any unusable pieces of produce and peelings onto this surface as you work and when you are done simply pick it up and dispose of in your compost bin.

Easy-peasy.
