“You won’t always be motivated, that’s why you have to learn to be disciplined.”

Shauna Uma

In my early twenties I worked 60 hours a week in a management job and putting off the housework was easy to do. The only problem was it never got done if I didn’t do it!

I soon recognized the benefits of having a clean home.

Tidying up the apartment before heading in for an evening shift put me in a better frame of mind for work.

And, getting the housework done on my first of two days off would free me up to have fun or just relax on my second day off.

Let’s be honest, sometimes housework and cleaning is the last thing we feel like doing. Maybe that’s why it feels so good to get it done!

Homemaking Jewels offers tips and routines to help make the chore easier and maybe even a bit enjoyable.
