Skillet Brownies
You may shy away from making these amazing brownies in a cast iron skillet, but if you pour the batter into a hot skillet, you do not have to worry about it sticking.
Serve warm with ice cream.

- ½ cup Butter
- ¼ cup Cocoa powder
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- ¾ cup All-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- ½ cup Chopped walnuts
- ½ cup Chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In an 8-inch cast iron skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in cocoa completely, then remove from heat.
In a medium bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, flour, salt and walnuts. Don’t stir yet.
Pour cocoa mixture over top and stir all together. (Set skillet back on stove at medium heat to pour batter into when mixed.)
Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour batter back into the hot cast iron skillet.
Place in preheated oven.
Bake for 25 minutes or until edges start to pull away from sides of skillet.
A wooden toothpick should come out moist with no batter clinging to it.
