Creamy Coleslaw

Store bought coleslaw simply does not compare to this easy, homemade recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Coleslaw mix

Or make your own with:

  • 6 cups Shredded cabbage
  • 1 Carrot grated
  • 1 Apple grated (optional)

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp White vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp Celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  • Combine vegetables in a large salad bowl.
  • Mix dressing ingredients together. Add to vegetables and stir to coat well.
  • Clean off the edge of the bowl with a paper towel or transfer to a clean bowl.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
