Apple Betty

1 1.5 L casserole
1 electric hand mixer
- 6-7 Apples peeled, cored, and sliced
- Cinnamon sprinkle
- 1/3 cup Butter softened
- ¾ cup Brown sugar packed
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place prepared apples in a small 1.5 L casserole. It should be about 2/3 full.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
In a small mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar together.
Add flour, salt, and cinnamon and mix to a crumbly mixture and sprinkle evenly over apples.
Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until apples are soft.
Serve warm with ice cream or a slice of cheddar cheese.
