Sloppy Joes
These sloppy Joes are a quick, tasty weekday meal. Something the whole family will enjoy. Complete the meal with fries and coleslaw.

- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 Onion small, minced
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 398 mL Tomato sauce 1 can
- ¼ tsp Chilli powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 tsp Prepared mustard
- ¼ cup Ketchup
- ½ cup Water as needed
- 6 Hamburger buns
Preheat a large skillet or frying pan.
Brown beef until no pink is showing.
Add ½ cup water to the beef and stir to rinse off the fat, then drain off the liquid.
Add onions and cook a couple minutes, then add the garlic.
Stir in flour.
In a small mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except the water. Add to the meat mixture and stir.
Reduce heat and allow the mixture to simmer for about 15 minutes while you prepare the rest of the meal. Stir occasionally.
Add water as necessary to maintain a saucy consistency.
Serve on a toasted bun. Toast your buns by buttering each half and placing them face down on a hot skillet or putting them under the broiler for a couple minutes.
