Dishcloth - diagonal knit pattern

Use 100% dishcloth cotton with 3.75mm or US 5 needles. Using smaller needles gives this dishcloth a tighter stitch so it doesn’t stretch as much when wet.

Instructions

  • Cast on 4 stitches.
  • K 1 row.
  • *K 2, YO, K to end*. Repeat until there are 47 stitches on the needle.
  • *K1, K2tog, YO, K2tog, K to end*. Repeat until there are 5 stitches on needle.
  • K 1 row.
  • Cast off and weave in ends.
